The idea of this project stems from the fusion on the Silk road of precious Uzbek textiles and Italian Design. We strive to create a mix of culture and innovation, by revisiting their traditional textiles within our fashion design taste. In particular, we use atlas (Silk and Cotton), adras (cotton), and bakhmal (silk velvet), hand-woven in traditional narrow looms with multicolor pattern decorations, and suzani, their typical hand-embroidered tapestries. All our garments are unique, wholly hand-made and numbered: a real fusion of their extraordinary local handicraft and the creativity of three women from Torino.
The inspiration of the collections is a timeless journey in the world of Art in all its forms, including figurative arts, music, cuisine, technology and Nature itself. Fashion and beauty becomes synonymous with fashion and art in the broad sense, including the wonders of Nature. Fashion, Art and Nature come together and become universal. Colors inspired by earth and minerals, natural silk and wool mixed together and fondled by art, in a boundless world.
